I had a freaky experience this morning. I got a call from my tradio add for a honey extractor. The guy said he had two but didn't want to sell. Instead he wanted to let me borrow it in exchange for some honey. Then he started asking about how many hives and supers I had. He wanted to know how well they were producing. I never told him where I live, but I'm still worried that he'll come and steal my hives. There is quiet an investment sitting in my yard right now, which I would dearly despise losing.This is a major frustration for me; I need an extractor. However, they are expensive, but I don't feel comfortable looking for a used one anymore. I'll pray that some unexpected windfall comes my way. Somehow this problem will be solved.
