you are laying on the couch coughing your brains out in the middle of the night and your baby asks if you want a vaporizer, a cup of red raspberry leaf tea, a glass of water.....
then said baby fills the vaporizer, brings it to the living room, and asks if you want any essential oils added to the water....
then said baby makes a wonderfully brewed cup that's not too hot and not too cold...
then said baby follows the cup with a tall glass of pure, cool water....
then said baby sympathizes with the sick mom and asks if there is anything else he can do before he goes off to bed...
Now there is a man who will make a compassionate husband and father. Oh, did I tell you that he and his girl friend made dinner last night, too--perfectly prepared pasta fagolli with a huge bowl of tender crisp cauliflower, red peppers, and snow peas seasoned just right with Italian herbs. And they cleaned up in the manner of our family tradition.
I don't think his ways have much to do with my child rearing abilities. This one came with a knowing spirit and worked to improve it.
"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing" John 15:4-5

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
