all I can do is smile....journal #54-11/28/2010

On My Mind...a little sad a lot thankful

Celebration....we made it to the final count down...today is the farewell...MTC on Wednesday

Praying For...Sons and daughters of God that serve Him in dangerous places. The leaders of nations that they will no more seek unrighteous dominion over the Children of God. Sweet Princess Gayle...a happy and cheerful little girly-girl. I'm a sad that the impending snow prevented our reunion today. I pray for her protection, safety, joy, and health and the same for all children of the earth. Praying for peace. Praying for our soon to be missionary.

Homemaking...room packed, suitcases packed, celebrations catered

Commitment to Health...sticking to my commitment to ETL holiday challenge amid Prada Pies, bread, and more...starting up weightlifting and indoor exercising again on Monday...ice makes progress precarious and scary

Appearance...gray, wool, pleated ballet length skirt, pink blouse and cardigan, gray, wool overcoat again.

Scripture Meditations..." Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

Towards a Real Education...it's come to a screeching halt...

What's Coming...warm weather...still slowly working on my new website and hope to launch it before I'm 90...

Simple Pleasure...serving my loved ones...

Commitment to Loveliness...at this point, all I can do is smile...

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
