faith and hope

It is impossible to understand and live the gospel without faith.

"For no man can be saved, according to the words of Christ, save they shall have faith in his name; wherefore, if these things have ceased, then has faith ceased also; and awful is the state of man, for they are as though there had been no redemption made. But behold, my beloved brethren, I judge better things of you, for I judge that ye have faith in Christ because of your meekness; for if ye have not faith in him then ye are not fit to be numbered among the people of his church. And again, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you concerning hope. How is it that ye can attain unto faith, save ye shall have hope? And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of His resurrection to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise." Moroni 7:38-40

This is what I base my life upon. I believe that I must pattern my life after my Savior and attempt to acquire a character like His to the best of my ability. I believe that His redeeming power will be void for me if I do not attempt to do so. I believe that this sort of pursuit is only possible with a deep faith in His atoning sacrifice and a hope of a glorious resurrection. I know that He lives and loves me personally. I live in this world to serve Him and build His kingdom. I hope for the world to come, where we will live and associate with loved ones. I believe families are forever and have a deep faith in this teaching.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
