"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him." Matthew 2:1-2 Wise Men sought him.
"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was not room for them in the inn." Luke 2:7 The Inn Keeper had no room for him.
"And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God and said, Lord now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to they word: For mine eyes have seen they salvation, which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; a light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of the people Israel." Luke 2:25-32 Simeon waited for Him and knew Him right away.
"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth Peace, good will toward men." Luke 2 13-14 Angels praised Him.
"And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thin which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger." Luke 2:15-16 Shepherds hurried to find Him.
"When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born...Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men." Matthew 2:3-4, 16 Herod tried to kill him.
"And there was one Anna, a prophetess...she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; and she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, be served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem." Luke 2:36-38 Anna saw and knew Him and shared the news of His birth.
"But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart." Luke 2:19 Mary pondered the blessed event.
Do I seek Him, find room for Him, rejoice in Him, ponder His life, and share Him with the world? Do I believe in His mission life, death, atonement, and resurrection? Hopefully, I'll learn to do better to be more satisfactory in my responses and actions concerning Jesus Christ, my Savior.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
