promised and provided
Jesus read from Isaiah during a synagogue service in Nazareth. Further, He commented that the Messianic prophecy spoke of Him, Isaiah 61:1-2/Luke 4:16-19. Esaias is Isaiah. The people didn't believe Him and became murderously incensed. They were incredulous that this poor carpenter, the son of their neighbor, whom they had watched grow up, believed Himself to be the Messiah. Because His mission was not yet fulfilled and He did not choose to let them take His life, He walked through the crowd and went His way. Likewise many today believe He was just a man, a prophet, a great teacher, or worse, only a fable. Through faith, feasting and experimenting upon His word, recognizing His hand in all things, and desiring a witness of the truth, we can come to know that Jesus is the Promised and Provided Messiah. Luke 4:14-32

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
