Grateful heart

Today I feel especially grateful for he Sacrament, because it allows me to renew and reaffirm my baptismal covenants weekly. I need these constant remindersand course corrections to keep me on the Lord's side. During this time, I like to examine my week, to dedicate a little time to worshipping God. I reflect on His amazing love and matchless sacrifice. I promise to remember Him in my interactions and daily activities. Aaaah, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. I do not usually live up to my desired behavior and need the further cleansing effect of these tokens of His body and blood. "The Lord requireth the heart and a willing mind." Doctrine and Covenants 64:34 "They are given [gifts of the spirit]for the benefit of those who love me and keep all my commandments, and him who seeketh to do so." Doctrine and Covenants46:9 I am in that last category. It is my daily goal to keep the commandments, earnestly striving to do so, seeking to do so...but I fall short every time. Repentance and His grace allow me to keep trying. I love my Heavenly Fathere and His Son, Jesus Christ afro providing a way for little me to return to their presence some day.
