Luke 18:9-14
All need to take care not to get puffed up in their supposed righteousness, for all have sinned. The Pharisee's prayer was self-serving and self-righteous as if he were praying to himself. On the other hand, the Publican was humble and admitted his sinful nature and pleaded to God for forgiveness. Sooner or later all must face the truthfulness and consequences of their sinful nature. Hopefully, the choice will be to become humble instead of being compelled to be humble.
"everyone that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted" Luke 18:14
"And if men come unto me, I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humbled; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." Ether 12:27

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
