About 5 years ago now, I started feeling immeasurable fatigue. It was so bad, it felt like I was asleep, while I was awake, slept for 20 hours a day, and began to age very rapidly. Pain was my constant companion. One thing after another was diagnosed, but the truth of the matter is I was sick, because I traded life…for sweeties.
Oh, yes, I was a 5-star home chef and welcomed any and all to my private bistro, First Bite. Delicious, rich, detrimental meals and desserts were tested for my books and table by yours truly, which I paid for dearly.
By listening to the still small voice speak to me through scripture and other means a little over two years ago, I now feel on top of the world. It took some time to turn things around, nevertheless, drugs and surgery never would or could have brought this about but simply masked and managed symptoms plus destroyed other organs in the process. Taking matters into my own hands, I may or may not live to 100 but am not worried about all that. However, I'm really living today and no longer trading life for sweeties or cholesterol or sodium or glue or plastic disguised as food. And I must admit some of these new, live dishes are 5-star. Maybe I should open a restaurant called Wild Ginger or maybe not.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
