I am reading...

a lot of interesting books these days. I belong to LDS Mommy University and am reading all the selections there. But I'm also reading The Hottest Logic Book On Earth. It's funny, interesting, and highly recommended. I've only recently started reading logic books starting with the Fallacy Detective a few years ago. I've also read a great deal of Plato, Aristotle and others found in the Great Books of the Western World. Admittedly, they are not as fun to read as HLBE; many are quite tedious.

    Hi, love your site. I found you because I have a 19 year old daughter who is taking an online
    BYU course in logic and using the book you are reading, "Hottest" She needs to pass this course to enter her junior year as a transfer. She (and I) are having a BRUTAL time with this material. We just entered chapters 11, 12 and 13 and we are lost. Can you recommend any tutoring, thoughts, books, tapes, websites?

    We are in Los Angeles. We are not LDS members but have tons of very close friends in the community.

    Again, love the site...love your respect for being a mom.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
