it's my life

When people say 'it's my life', they are indeed correct. What many don't seem to grasp is that their eternal destiny is determined by the use or misuse of their agency. We are all free to choose liberty and eternal life or captivity and spiritual death. Yes, our final state is determined by our own choices. The scary part that my wayward brothers and sisters don't understand is that each of us receive our reward from him whom we choose to obey, our Heavenly Father or Satan. Those who choose to follow God's commandments will gain a heavenly reward. Those who choose evil also choose Satan's rewards.

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galations 6:7-9

"The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward." Proverbs 11:18

“Are we not the framers of our own destiny? Are we not the arbitrators of our fate?...I argue from it that it is our privilege to determine our own exaltation or degradation. It is our privilege to determine our own happiness or misery in the world to come. What is it that brings happiness now—that makes us so joyous in our assembling together? It is not wealth; for you may pour wealth, honor, influence, and all the luxuries of this world into the lap of man; and, destitute of the Spirit of God, he will not be happy, for that is the only source from which true happiness and comfort can come” (John Taylor, The Gospel Kingdom, 341).

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
