Paradigm Shift

you are what you read

If anyone thinks they know me and don't know how addicted to learning I am, then they don't know me at all. I love to read a great innocent love story such as Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austin. Since learning new things directs my energy into productive paths, non-fiction on my interests of the moment draws me in as well. History or politics, science or homesteading, I'm game for it all.
Besides my scriptures, my book bag contains some new favorites and old friends today. Can anyone suggest a good novel or historical fiction? I don't like sad books.

  1. Have you read These is My Words and the sequels? I loved them!

  2. Have you read the number 1 ladies detective agency books at all? I read the first one a few years ago, and I know I enjoyed it then. I do not remember being bothered by content in it, but I don't remember it enough to be 100% sure. Have you read all of L.M.Montgomery? Like the Emily series? What about the Little Britches series? Hopefully I've come up with at least one new book for you.

  3. I've read These is my words and the others in the series. I've read the Montgomery and Little Britches books. But I've not yet read the Ladies Detective books. I'll give one a try. Thanks.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
