Celebrating Cayenne

I've been working through an herb course I studied four years ago once again. This time through, I'm getting a lot more out of it. The body is a fascinating creation capable of healing itself. I'm so grateful that God revealed laws of health and gave us powerful logic to discover or feel inspired with ways to enlarge the body's abilities.

This week during one of Joseph's terrible headaches, I felt inspired to give him 3 capsules of cayenne pepper and 16 oz. water. It was his first head ache in many weeks and so was quite a distressing surprise. However, the cayenne worked in very little time. He did not have to drink a soda with caffeine and take a handful of Advil to find relief.

With the inspiration to drink our green smoothies and gazpacho, we've lost 14 & 16 lbs. since August 15. The green drinks alleviate sugar cravings and give amazing energy. Most of our aches and pains have disappeared as well. Our skin issues are lessening. We are sleeping better. My PMS and peri menopause symptoms are disappearing. I really like using nutrition as medicine.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
