the power of three~book review #7, 8, & 9
The Wheatgrass Book: How to Grow and Use Wheatgrass to Maximize Your Health and Vitality by Ann Wigmore
This book's statistics and documented studies gave me the courage to try wheat grass juice. I though it would be vile. At first it was, but now I sort of crave it. I'm so glad to learn there are other ways to eat wheat than whole wheat breads and boiled wheat cereal.
Wheatgrass Nature's Finest Medicine: The Complete Guide to Using Grasses to Revitalize Your Health by Steve Meyerowitz
I read this after Ann Wigmore's book. It has a lot of information on how to grow your own, something in which I'm definitely interested. I've seen amazing results with wheat grass and other greens this year.
This Good Food: Contemporary French Vegetarian Recipes from a Monastery Kitchen by Victor-Antoine d'Avila-Latourrette
I love the feel of this book and will try many recipes. However, recipes containing fish are not vegetarian. I eat fish and am not a vegetarian but was a bit surprised to see these in a vegetarian cookbook. Also, many of the recipes are a bit too high in fat, sugar, and white flour, which I will adapt in my exploration of this excellent book.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
