Here you see one of the many beautiful buildings on the Island of Sark,
one of the British Channel Islands that still does not allow vehicles other than bicycles and horse drawn carriages.

This was a very interesting biography set mostly during WWII on the Island of Sark. It would be most suitable to read to your homeschooling family, while studying WWII, especially the girls.
The Dame of Sark was a remarkable woman, who knew the value of home, family, duty, and loyalty. She set a wonderful example of strength in the face of extremely trying circumstances and how to maintain dignity during deprivation. She was no victim, even though she could have chosen that route many times.
I read it online here.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
