America, Why I Love Her

That's nice....unfortunately unlike the seemingly permanent grandeur of our natural wonders, the constitution that makes us free is being eroded daily by an American impostor and his minions in the White House. Sadly, he was not the first to work this evil. Martin Luther King, a man I hold in high esteem, had it right. Let's judge others by the content of their character not the color of their skin.

Since the time of Lincoln, presidents, supreme court justices, and law makers on both sides of the political spectrum have eroded the constitution. Little by little the door to Marxism, Fascism, and slavery has been opened. Now our current president no longer needs to work his deeds behind a screen of smoke and lies. He can blatantly push us over the cliff of collectivism, which we have so long teetered, in his quest of final absolutism and power.

I love American for her beauty. More importantly I love America because of what she represents--liberty. Once America falls, there will be no more liberty in the world, because there will be nobody willing to defend it. America will fall unless we all fall to our knees and ask God to teach us to follow Him once more. America will fall unless we begin to live by the Golden Rule. America will fall unless we take the bull by the horns and send it to the hamburger house.

I hear many people say that there is nothing we can do. Ahh...but there is. We can learn about candidates and vote for constitutionalists on both sides of the isle. We can vote with our dollars. We can vote with our attitudes. We can vote with our refusal to follow the cultural status quo. We can vote when we stop amusing ourselves to death and open our eyes to the truthfulness of what is happening. We can vote with a little old fashioned community participation. I'm up for some serious voting. How about you?
