Joseph at Ginger at Zion National Part--Wearing my obligatory vacation straw hat.
Our suite at Little Ginger's B&B is wonderful with three bouquets of fresh flowers that give a delightful fragrance. It was so much like being at home. We were so comfortable and cozy.
Breakfast: Berry, Buckwheat Green, and Flax Smoothie at Little Ginger's Juice bar
Hands-on Demonstration: indoor micro-green farming at Little Ginger's Homestead and Garden--she's such a nice hostess...
Zion National Park: Visitor's Center and Human History Museum--hike planned for next week
Lunch: Picnic Basket packed by Little Ginger herself--Veggie Salad Sandwiches on sprouted Ezekiel Bread with sunflower greens and anemic store-bought tomatoes, ripe local melon, chipotle relish with CSA carrots--Organic Real Fruit smoothies purchased at Springdale Fruit Farm (we're going back in a month to pick organic apples from the huge orchard). Bought a jar of Ginger Peachy Butter...could not resist the name.
Afternoon nap: Little Ginger's B&B
Shopping: Beehive Boutique and Sunshine Herb Shop (I needed new unmentionables and some herbs for my new Golden Years formula.)
Dinner: Falafel Salad and cool local melon on the veranda
Evening Activities: Wild Flower Hunting and Herb Walk hosted by Little Ginger herself

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
