Teddy's Prayer Simon Dewey
“What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?” Psalm 116:12
Being grateful for our blessings, we acknowledge the Lord's hand in our lives.
We should accept His sacrifice and choose to live for Him. “I will take the cup of salvation” (116:13).
We should pray continually and fervently. “I will … call upon the name of the Lord” (116:13).
In what way does God want us to spend our lives in his service? Discover and do.“O Lord, truly I am thy servant” (116:16).
Again, spend time every day saying thank you not only to God but to all who serve us even down to the bag boy at the market. Be grateful. Smile. “I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving” (116:17).
“I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people, in the courts of the Lord’s house” (116:18–19). LDS Christian Young Women recite a theme each Sunday that would be well for all Christians to adopt.
"We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us, and we love Him.
We will 'stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things,
and in all place' (Mosiah 18:9) as we strive to live
the Young Women values, which are:
Faith
Divine Nature
Individual Worth
Knowledge
Choice and Accountability
Good Works
Integrity and
Virtue."
We can and should apply David’s ideas in showing gratitude to the Lord. We will be happier as we count our blessings and strive to live by the example the Lord has set.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
