"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7
The Proverbs don't cut any punches and sometimes make me laugh. Maybe if I stop laughing and listen to the message, I'll be a little smarter. God caused His prophets to write His Words, because He wanted us to know Him and how to get back to Him.The Holy Ghost can further help us in discerning truth. I can write about His Word until my fingers are numb, but I cannot explain and define His Word better than He can himself. Please, read the Word for yourself and get to know Him. He longs to hold you in His loving arms and teach you all you should know and do to return to Him someday.
Before you begin, pray to have the light of Christ brighten your understanding. Read and ponder the words. Pick out one scripture from your reading, and write about why it is important to you. Write what God reveals to you. Pray again to thank Him for teaching you. Nothing in this world will bring you more peace, joy, and understanding.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
