Matthew 18:15, 21-35
I love this verse (15)...surely I read it as a young person but it never sunk in eight years ago. We were on Oahu and the Sunday School discussion centered around those that leave the church because of offense. Jesus told us exactly what to do, when someone wrongs us. I decided right then that I would go and talk to people if they cause hurt.
Forgiving is such a wonderful doctrine as well. To forgive is to free one's self from a prison of bitterness. Since I am like the King's servant and can never repay the debt, I am obligated to be merciful and forgive the debts of others. But it really isn't for anyone's benefit but my own. Usually, the debtor could care less if I harbor resentment toward them. They go on their merry way oblivious to my grudge, while it grows into something ugly inside. Forgiveness is for my health and happiness.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
