Luke 17:11-19
Jesus healed 10 lepers but only 1 thanked him. Every time I contemplate this story, I take stock. Am I one of the nine? Do I show and express gratitude for my blessings? Especially during this weak of EAster remembrance, do I remember the sacrifice of Jesus and His atonement?
I want to be like the one. I want to be healed and made whole. "In becoming a whole person, the grateful leper was healed inside as well as on the outside. That day nine lepers were healed skin deep, but only one had the faith to be made whole." Merrill Bateman, Ensign, May 1995, 14
I am grateful to my Savior, Jesus Christ, for teaching in parables. Stories illustrate principles in such a way that even a child can grasp the meaning if they choose to see the whole picture. As I continue to study the New Testament this year, I want to learn how to be healed more than skin deep. I want to be whole.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
