1 Corinthians 11:1–3, 11–12
Just as Jesus Christ and God the Father are one in purpose, love each other, and support each other, we should develop these qualities in our relationship with Jesus Christ and our spouse. Two chapters later in 1 Corinthians 13, we are given specific instructions for the how-tos. More important that learning who is boss is learning how to care for each other.
"Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God." 1 Corinthians 11:11-12
"The great plan of happiness” centers on family life. The husband is the head of the home and the wife the heart of the home. And marriage is an equal partnership." Boyd K. Packer, Ensign, May 2011
The head cannot live without the heart nor can the heart live without the head. Both are equally essential to the proper functioning of the home and the happiness of the two parties.
“[A husband and wife] should be one in harmony, respect, and mutual consideration. Neither should plan or follow an independent course of action. They should consult, pray, and decide together...Remember that neither the wife nor the husband is the slave of the other. Husbands and wives are equal partners” (Marion G. Romney, “In the Image of God,” Ensign, Mar. 1978, 2, 4).
These ideas flow into the greater kingdom of God. Without harmony and unity, the church cannnot function. Being of one heart and one mind not only allows the home and the church to progress, it allows them to have many joyful fellowshipping and worship experiences.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
