isn't it lovely

This week I thought I'd do my own Commitment to Loveliness. I think it's a fun way to increase femininity and beauty my life each week without even trying! I choose five things to work on or do during the week that will increase the loveliness in my life!

Here is my list for this week:
1. Sew my new blouse today and tomorrow. I love the fabric. It's dotted Swiss, but not like the polyester stuff I wore as a child. It's a nice soft cotton. I've struggled with doing anymore sewing projects or not lately. Because of the green smoothies, I keep loosing weight. So I'm afraid to invest in new clothes that might not fit in a few weeks. However, I'm really loving the time I spend sewing right now. I'll move forward.

2. Take grandchildren to the SLC Children's Museum. I'm sitting with Sammy and Quinn this T and F, while Mommy gets some much deserved and needed away time. It gives me a perfect opportunity to take them and Cole, Oakley, Claire, Gayle, and Tyson to do something fun. Too bad I won't get to see Gracie as well. January can't come soon enough.

3. Deliver Christmas kits. I sure hope they like these. I've put a lot of time and thought into this project. If they don't like them, they will see that I made them with love.

4. Do one nature drawing. I love to draw even if I'm not too good at it.

5. Practice Christmas music. I'm learning a piece from the Messiah on my violin for Christmas, He Shall Feed His Flock. It is quite challenging for me. If I was a great singer, this is the piece that I would sing as a solo in the Messiah.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
