Outlook...joyful...I'm so glad to be alive.
On My Mind...a hive full of honey stores for bees that died in the first cold snap. Hopefully, it's not too late to get a package of bees this year.
Delish Kitch...guacamole with green and red pepper chips (slices)/going to attempt Sour Dough Sprouted Ezekiel Bread. When success is realized, I'll print the particulars.
Homemaking...Pantry Principle Area 1:Entry areas and Dining room--Getting back into a routine is so comforting.
Praying for...the safety and health of my loved ones....
Appearance...Liz Claiborne, navy, linen, ankle-length, shirtwaist (never worn-thrifted $5) and black birkie sandals--welcome spring
Movement...firm, walking, and working in the garden.
Bibliophile Fix…re-reading The Endless Steppe plus all my history, science, and herb studies. I'm loving this stuff!
Scripture Meditations..."Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance." Acts 2:28 This time last year, I prayed to God to end my suffering. He did but not in the way I expected. He showed me how to eat like Daniel. He showed me His simple medicine. He healed my sorrow and pain. He showed me the ways of life and joy.
Something New...by Tuesday I'll have 2 lbs. of organic greens and 10 oz. organic wheat grass juice per day from my new square inch kitchen garden for about 1/2 a dollar a day. Sure beats $15 per day. The system will pay for itself in less than a week. I'm starting baby lettuce, bok choy, and spinach this week. They are slower growing, but not as much is needed for salads and stir-fry as for green drinks.
My week is looking...promising...testing out google calendar to keep me on track...
God has been teaching me...to never take my eyes from His face and never stop listening to His voice.
Simple Pleasure...out walking a couple days ago, I ran into a friend. We stopped and visited for a few minutes in the evening breeze. In the neighborhood, this is a regular occurrence.
Commitment to Loveliness...1) spring clean the basement 2) start a flat of annuals for the front step planters 3) make a couple light cotton jumpers navy homespun and khaki for summer and find some light-weight, washable silk for slips 4) begin my grandchild of the week plan 5) begin my journey into watercolor

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
