God literally lights the way for His chosen people, thus leading them into their promised land. He led Moses and the children of Israel out of Egyptian captivity, Exodus 13:21. He led Jared and his family out of the confusion of Babel, Ether. He led Lehi and his family out of Jerusalem before its destruction, 1 Nephi. Each of these divinely guided groups became new covenant nations. The reason the Lord blessed them and they prospered is that same reason I experience success; the Lord enables and helps those who follow Him.
Part of our earthly school is learning to recognize the Lord's hand, as He lights the way. When we see His miraculous power manifest in great and small ways, we begin to be humble and teachable, 2 Nephi 11:4. We can escape confusion and see the difference between good and evil, 2 Nephi 10:14; Doctrine and Covenants 21:6. We simply cannot do it without Him, although some, including or especially me, give it a good try, 2 Nephi 7:11.
Jesus makes it possible to repent and brings us into His presence, Alma 37:45. Jesus wants to lead all of us out of our personal lands of destruction, confusion, and captivity into lands of promise, 1 Nephi 17:14.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
