Luke 18:1-8
We are to pray always as an act of faith. Obviously, we cannot go around day and night chanting, however, we can have our hearts full of thoughts for our welfare and that of others. (Alma 34:27) We will be blessed if we keep a prayer in our hearts always, and all we do for good will benefit us in the end. Sometimes prayer seems to be in vain but God hears all prayers.
"It is a mistake to assume that every prayer we offer will be answered immediately. Some prayers require considerable effort on our part...When we explain a problem and a proposed solution [to our Heavenly Father], sometimes He answers yes, sometimes no. Often He withholds an answer, not for lack of concern, but because He loves us--perfectly. He wants us to apply truths He has given us. For us to grow, we need to trust our ability to make correct decisions. We need to do what we feel is right. In time, He will answer. He will not fail us." Richard G. Scott, Ensign, November 1989, 30-31
I have tried this as an experiment and it really brings a person closer to God to keep a prayer in the heart. I have also gone about merrily in my own way, making decisions based on my own reason. The failures during these times are remarkable. Now I strive to remember God always. Now that conversation that continually runs through my head, I direct towards Him. Without a doubt, I cannot rely on my own judgment but need His guidance ever so much.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
