"It just seemed natural to turn to the Lord to ask for guidance. I’ve never separated church, professional life, family life, or personal life into little compartments; I’ve just felt that the Spirit can guide in all of those...absolutely aware and very interested in giving us support in whatever we do in life, our professional life included.” Richard G. Scott
I've lived my life upon this principle, badly at times, but always with this in mind. Right now I'm living a Jeckle and Hyde life in my head. I work diligently and joyfully on the projects God has given me inspiration to do during the day. At night I cry and fuss and wonder how in the world I got myself into this and how I can ever do it all. I love the inspired work but Satan just has to give his little jabs that keep me from sleeping.
When morning comes, God is right there by my side, whispering exactly what to do and say in my projects. It is a wondrous and humbling experience.
"Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the dews from heaven." Doctrine and Covenants 121:45
Help Me Teach With Inspiration
Lorin F. Wheelwright
Help me teach with inspiration;
Grant this blessing, Lord, I pray.
Help me lift a soul’s ambition
To a higher, nobler way.
Grant this blessing, Lord, I pray.
Help me lift a soul’s ambition
To a higher, nobler way.
Help me reach a friend in darkness;
Help me guide him thru the night.
Help me show thy path to glory
By the Spirit’s holy light.
Help me show thy path to glory
By the Spirit’s holy light.
Fill my mind with understanding;
Tune my voice to echo thine.
Touch my hand with gentle friendship;
Warm my heart with love divine.
Tune my voice to echo thine.
Touch my hand with gentle friendship;
Warm my heart with love divine.
Help me find thy lambs who wander;
Help me bring them to thy keep.
Teach me, Lord, to be a shepherd;
Father, help me feed thy sheep.
Teach me, Lord, to be a shepherd;
Father, help me feed thy sheep.

Reading the scriptures and keeping this journal are my delight. I do not keep an online journal to preach to anyone but myself. I like this format, because I can add pictures and correct my writing easier. If you enjoy reading it, I am happy. If you feel offended, please, realize it is not my intention to offend but to teach myself. No negative comments will not be published.
