Let Your Light Shine

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." W. E. B. Du Bois

I wish all my loved ones would watch this

"We only have one chronic disease - and it's got multiple manifestations. Obesity, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, strokes, vascular dementia, and rheumatoid arthritis.   They're nothing more than food-borne illnesses." Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., from his recent talk in Medina, Ohio

I just finished watching this amazing 2 hour lecture, which was very inspiring. Although I loved the information from Dr. Esselstyn, his cute wife was wonderful. She stole the show and presented tons of ideas for adopting a plant-perfect diet. They are a great team.

I wish all my loved ones would watch this.

Even though I have a little way to go still, I have overcome some very serious disease conditions eating plant-perfect. Anybody can allow their bodies to heal even if they are terminal.

Right now I'm making a delicious plant-perfect stack dinner of seasoned steamed spinach, red/brown jasmine rice, kidney beans, and salsa. This lifestyle is delicious!
