Easter Gift

This month I'll focus most of my devotions on the reason for the Easter season. Although the world doesn't focus as much energy on celebrating Easter as they do Christmas, Easter celebrates an event equal to if not more significant than the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ. The Atonement encompasses the sacrifice Jesus Christ made to allow us overcome sin, adversity, and death. Many don't realize the Atonement includes all the events surrounding the Garden of Gethsemane and the cross at Calvary. When He paid the price for our sins, took upon Himself death, and was resurrected, Jesus showed just how much God, Our Heavenly Father and He love us. Matthew 26 and 27
