Many don't realize or believe I am a Christian as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Most of these don't understand the significance of Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It's main purpose is to testify that “Jesus is the Christ, … manifesting Himself unto all nations” (title page of the Book of Mormon).
There are many beautiful testimonies, prophecies, and teachings of Jesus Christ in the Book of Mormon. One of my favorites is how Nephi responded to his father, Lehi's, testimony of the Savior. Although he believed the words of his father, he wanted a witness of the truth and prayed to receive it. He got his wish in a very big way. 1 Nephi 10-11
