9/11 is a sad day for my family. We are US citizens that love our country and mourn everything that has happened to our liberty since that fateful day. How in the world did we go from a free country to one that looks the other way for Homeland Security. Because she didn't buckle her bike helmet or look where she was going, she was struck and killed by a truck. Helmets must be worn correctly to be efficient. Late is not excuse for carelessness either. Please, please, tell your children about our Katie. Super glue those helmets to their heads. Drive them if they are late. Then you can lecture and ground them instead of burying them.
