At first reading Isaiah is difficult. It is full of allusions and symbolism. Nevertheless, he clearly testifies of the conception, birth, and mission of Jesus Christ. Over and again New Testament apostles and prophets quote Isaiah to show how Jesus fulfilled the prophecies. My testimony of Jesus grows when I read fulfilled prophecies. Although my testimony is enhanced by Isaiah and the New Testament prophets, it isn't based on this. Gratitude for the atonement and all it does for me, my family, my friends, and the world is my testimony.
