Old Testament prophets Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, and Micah foretold the birth of Jesus Christ, Zechariah the awful betrayal and death by the hands of his countrymen and friends. Jesus testified that the prophesied Lord was himself as did John the Baptist. This is the greatest event in the history of the earth. I find it ironic that these supposed learned scriptorians couldn't see that their very actions fulfilled the prophecies about the person they claimed was blasphemous in is claim of Messiah.
