"...they shall be numbered among the seed of thy father...among the house of Israel...a blessed people upon the promised land forever...no more to be brought down into captivity...no more to be confounded," 1 Nephi 14:2
"Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham," Galatians 3:7.
Lehi's people weren't the first to receive a Promised Land. Moses led the children of Abraham out of Egypt towards a Promised Land. The remnant of Lehi's seed or natives of the Americas are of the house of Israel, the children of Abraham. Gentiles (those not of the house of Israel by blood) are adopted into the house of Israel, when they choose to become part of God's kingdom. This guarantee of security only holds if large numbers of God's kingdom dwell in the western hemisphere. I wish to do my part, as small as it is, by example, word, and deed.
